This is a quality blueprinted and rebuilt carburetor that will function flawlessly, but is not cosmetically restored.  

A Standard Carburetor Rebuild starts with a thorough inspection of your carburetor for missing or broken components or stripped threads in need of repair.  If these were not previously identified, you will be contacted and advised of any additional cost to address these issues before work commences.    

Your carburetor is then completely disassembled and cleaned in a  multi-step process that includes gentle but thorough cleaning in commercial heated ultrasonic cleaner to dislodge the smallest and most stubborn particles.   All components of the carburetor (baseplate/ body/ airhorn/ fuel bowls) are checked for warpage or defects and all parts are trued.

Well plugs and bodies are checked to ensure no leakage and repaired (if necessary).    Throttle shafts in aluminum baseplates or bodies are checked and bushed if necessary (all Quadrajets get new bushings).  Shafts in Cast iron baseplates are replaced or reconditioned.  Throttle plates are indexed and every tolerance and clearance is checked to ensure impeccable performance.  Idle circuits are modified for a proper idle on today's fuels.  

 
The carburetor body will be thoroughly cleaned but will not be colored.  Steel hardware and plates will not be plated or restored.    

Only the highest quality rebuild kits that are ethanol compatible are used.   Floats and choke pull-offs are checked and replaced if necessary.  Any throttle plate /choke plate screws that are removed are replaced with new hardware and secured using thread locker and staked. 

 
The Carburetor is then run on a test engine and completely tuned to ensure that it functions flawlessly before being shipped back to you!   The Choke, Fast Idle Speed, Idle Circuit, Acceleration Circuit, Air/Fuel Mixture, and Jetting are all tested and verified.  

We are one of the few shops that have invested in a stand-alone test engine to ensure that your carburetor is 100% BOLT ON READY when you receive it!
